Hello, I am Rain and I read a lot of comics. My passion for the medium began when I opened a box on my attic which was filled with ‘Suske en Wiske’s’ (Luke and Lucy) comic books whom belonged to my father. And after reading one issue (De Koddige Kater) I was sold. Simultaneously I also became a big Batman-fan due to playing LEGO Batman on my Wii-console, and the love for the medium was born.

Besides a degree in Information Technology (IT), I’m mostly self-taught, and am currently going through my pre-university studies (equivalent to A-levels (England) or High school AP-courses (USA)). I’ve already got some theoretical ninth art/’sequential art’ books on my shelf and am ready to dive into them in the form of a self-made curriculum in ‘Comic studies‘, after I am done with the former. With that knowledge I hope I can become the best comic book reviewer I hope to be.

For now, you have to do with a newbie in comic book reviewing, but I hope you will enjoy my reviews nonetheless. I will try not to be shallow in my reviews – every panel tells a story. And be prepared to see comics from all ranges, whether it’s the big-two (DC/Marvel), indie (Image) or other (European/Manga/Underground Comix), it doesn’t matter – I’m here to cover them all!
